PIC Training

We offer an on-site, one-day PIC training session that teaches your staff how PIC works and gives them the essential tools to correct PIC errors, easily and efficiently. Before arriving at your site for the training, we analyze your tenant data and the 50058 data in PIC and focus the training on the PIC errors that are preventing your agency from consistently achieving a 100% submission rate.

Our PIC trainings are designed for all housing authorities, regardless of your software system.

The morning session provides your staff with an understanding of the PIC system and why it processes your 50058 records the way it does. You will also learn techniques for preparing your 50058s for successful submissions, how to submit your 50058 records to PIC, and how to retrieve and manage the PIC Error Reports.

Some PIC errors seem mysterious and incomprehensible. The afternoon session will teach you how to use the tools available in PIC to correct every PIC error, every time. We will specifically share with you the secret to reading PIC Error Reports and solving those errors as efficiently and effectively as possible. Your Section 8 manager will also learn how to consistently maintain your PIC submission rates for high SEMAP scores at the end of your fiscal year. The training concludes with a set of monthly practices designed to maintain your submission rate above 95% each and every month.
